Karen McShane

Managing Director Kevin McShane Ltd.

Karen is a Civil Engineer and Transport Planner with over 34 years' experience in the Construction Industry. Karen specialises in all aspects of transport planning, traffic surveying and assessment, and traffic engineering. She has been involved in numerous high profile schemes throughout Northern Ireland from planning and feasibility study stages right through to construction and completion.

Karen is an expert witness and has provided input at numerous public inquiries. She holds a part time role of Transport Advisor to the Northern Ireland Strategic Investment Board.

Brian Pope

BEng, CEng, MICE

Chartered Engineer Kevin McShane Ltd.

Brian is a Civil Engineer with over 30 years' experience in the Construction Industry. Brian specialises in project management and infrastructure design, including roads and drainage, earthworks, flood risk and highways design. He has extensive experience in delivering construction projects in the health care, residential, commercial, retail, renewables, waste water, industrial and educational sectors.

Brian has been responsible for managing and delivering the civil engineering element on a number of prestigious and award winning projects in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Claire McAlister

Engineer at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Clare McAlister is a Civil Engineer with over 5 years experience in the transportation and design elements of many varied projects. As a graduate Clare is a key member of the transportation and drainage team preparing technical reports and detailed analysis. She has extensive experience in computational modelling and has progressed to Civil Engineering design and is currently working on new housing, roads and drainage layouts.

Declan Diamond

Snr. Transport Planner at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Declan has a BSc in Transportation from Ulster University he has a wide range of experience across a variety of projects dealing with the schemes from concept stage through to planning approval.  Declan has extensive experience in traffic and transport analysis, preparation of a range of reports including Transport Assessments, Environmental Statements, Travel Plans and Service Management Plans. Declan is proficient in the use of Junction modelling software. He is the senior transport manager for the office.

Yuri Piskun

Snr. Technician at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Yuri brings more than 10 years' experience of design and development of Civil Engineering and Transportation schemes. Yuri is an expert user of AutoCAD and as Digital Delivery Champion is responsible for quality management of drawing production at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Yuri has worked as project co-ordinator at BIM Level 2 for a number of major transport infrastructure projects. His experience includes the use of 3D design packages such as PDS and Civil 3D. His roles and responsibilities include the preparation of road and drainage design packages across a range of sectors including health, retail, industrial, residential, public realm and education.

Donal McKeown

Trainee Engineer at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Donal McKeown is a Trainee Civil Engineer who joined Kevin McShane Ltd to further his engineering experience. Donal is a key member of the survey team coordinating the traffic, transportation, market research and drainage surveys. He is part of the Civil Engineering design team and is currently working on new housing, roads and drainage layouts.

Sean McGeown

BSc, MCIHT

Technician at Kevin McShane Ltd.

Sean graduated from Ulster University with a BSc in Construction Engineering and Management. Since joining the team Sean has gained experience in traffic data collection, parking surveys, speed surveys, and trip generation assessment.

Sean is particularly adept at vehicle swept path analysis and traffic sign and line design. His software skills include AutoCAD, Causeway PDS, Junction8, ARCADY, PICADY and TRICS analysis.

Steve Drew

Steve is responsible for invoicing and project billing at Kevin McShane Ltd.
