Kings Hall Belfast, Redevelopment

Kevin McShane Ltd have been proud to provide Transport and engineering services to the redevelopment of the Kings Hall, Belfast. The first phase of the new medical hub opened in April 2021 and marks the regeneration of the former concert venue. The overall scheme will include a new medical hub data centre, a care home, a nursery school and supported living units. The detailed design of the external road works included a new traffic signal controlled junction, a new access to Balmoral Avenue and a detailed Transport and Travel plan. The process included extensive public consultations as well as presentations to the local Council and the Planning Committee. The approval has protected the former listed building and allowed it to be brought back into reuse.
